I wanted to study the distribution of income for the population of Spain and check if it follows a lognormal distribution as usually stated in economics books
This dataset contains statistics about the distribution of individual gross income in euros for the people of Spain in between the 10th and 90th percentile of salaries. Such as mean, median, 10th and 90th percentiles, and lower and upper quartiles. These statistics are available nationwide or by gender, state and year up to 2017.
This data is publicly available and was extracted from "Instituto Nacional de estadística" INE (Span's National Institute of Statistics). Then cleaned and translated where convinient to follow best practices.
